The JAAA undertakes a wide range of PR activities. The PR committee is in charge of coordinating such activities with a view to enhancing an appreciation of advertising. It runs advertisements in newspapers and magazines to promote the “Advertising of Advertising.” It also makes a PR brochure of the JAAA and conducts various other activities related to publicity.

 

[Function and Role of Advertising Subcommittee]

This subcommittee meets on a regular basis to conduct research into advertising theory. Recently the subcommittee has been researching into the revitalization of different kinds of advertising, including branding and the use of various media in the digital age.
